DRUG - SLIDE CARD - Updated 12 July 2006 The card is designed to ease calculations of drug volumes to give at the scene. The dose in the mls section refers to how many mls to give out of the syringe. The right hand side of the card gives the ampoule size of the drug and how to dilute it if required. The left hand side of the card gives a summary of the CPG protocols. The card has been slightly enlarged from the previous one but still fits into your uniform's shirt pocket. Please note however the card is not supported or endorsed by RAV. |
